A Russian court has jailed a blogger for two weeks for ‘hooliganism’ after he insulted Vladimir Putin on an election ballot.
Stanislav Morozov shared a video of him writing ‘Putin is a d***head’ on a ballot during the recent parliamentary elections.
The blogger from Penza,Russia,was jailed on ‘administrative arrest’ for the stunt,with charges of petty hooliganism.
He was approached shortly after sharing the video,according to New Alternative Route,by a police officer and an officer in civilian clothes.
His arrest came just months after he shared information about residents being arrested and allegedly forced to sign contracts with the Russian Defence Ministry.
